Although no details are official, there are reports of a seven-year contract worth around $84 million, averaging about $12 million per year. Kiffin will not be able to coach Ole Miss through the upcoming College Football Playoffs, but ESPN reports LSU will pay Kiffin as if he had stayed at Ole Miss in the CFP, $150K per game, up to $1M through the championship game. Kiffin leaves Ole Miss with a (55-19) record over six seasons with the Rebels. Tennessee fell to Vanderbilt Saturday for the first time since 2018, 45-24. This was the first game between the two schools where both teams were ranked, and also the first time Vanderbilt beat Tennessee by 21 or more points since a 51-7 win over the Vols in 1923. Diego Pavia accounted for 433 total yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions. Vanderbilt has its first 10-win season in program history.
