All the knobs, levers, pulleys, and rotating dials explain the complex engineering that went into designing the HVAC system on all Air-Cooled Porsche 911's. From the F-Body to the G-Body, all the way up to the 964 and 993, the HVAC system remained complicated inefficient, and confusing. Thankfully, after 3 years of ownership, I think I am able to somewhat explain the system well. Leave it in the comments if I missed the explanation, or if it needs clarity.
