CNBC-TV18 Market Editor | 'India's growth slowdown was triggered by policy tightening', says Ridham Desai, MD & Chief Equity Strategist at Morgan Stanley India. He tells Surabhi Upadhyay and Nigel D'Souza that the policy pivot by the RBI is the biggest he has seen in the last 35 years. Globally, earnings estimates are declining faster than earnings downgrades in India, adds Ridham Desai. He sounded optimistic and stated that India will outperform the global bear market. Adds that financials will lead this market out of the woods. Expecting FIIs to buy without DIIs selling isn't happening or possible, unless corporate issuances pick up, Ridham Desai said.
