Some hints on how to wash and care for a Sunday driver car 🚙. Today my son Tom and myself wash our VF SSV Redline. Normally the car always get a Polish with Durogloss Aquawax afterwards but there was not enough time today. I also show my very cheap but effective home made car cover. I will be making a video on applying Polish and detailing under the bonnet and the interior another time. That can be the part 2 video. A complete wash , Polish and detail on my takes a full day and into the night even though this car is usually absolutely immaculate when I start. Let’s face it, it’s not just driving these nice cars, it’s also fun to care for them, or just looking at them I guess. It’s really not a chore. Thanks to my son Tom for filming and also washing the tyres and wheels.and applying tyre shine. He earned some decent pocket money today. I used Bowden’s wash and wax and Duragloss Tyre Shine, I did not get paid to use these products. Never ever use Dishwashing liquid, I recently heard of a friend who was surprised that his car alway looks terrible despite washing it every 2 weeks with dishwashing liquid. He may as well have washed it bat droppings, probably the same result. Don’t use it on your car. Bat Droppings too! 😃 Thanks for watching. 🙏🙏🚙
