My East Coast bike trip continues at Thunder Mountain Bike Park. After lunch, it was time to take a chill lap down Sugar Line. Known for its progressive trail system built by the world-renowned Gravity Logic team, the park is designed to cater to riders of all skill levels, from complete beginners to seasoned pros. The Bike Park and Trail Options The park offers a wide variety of trails, all serviced by a high-speed lift, allowing riders to get in multiple laps and easily progress through the difficulty levels. Introductory Trails: The "Green" trails, such as the marquee Sugarline, are perfect for new riders. They feature smooth, gentle grades with plenty of berms and small rollers, providing a safe and fun way to build confidence. The park also offers gnarly technical descents like Cliff Clavin, which is a puzzle of rocks, roots, and steep chutes.
