Asking for an Appointment • I’d like to make an appointment, please. • Is there any availability this week? • Do you have an appointment on Monday? Offering & Choosing a Time • We have availability on Tuesday at 10 a.m. • Is 3 p.m. okay for you? • That works for me. / That’s fine. Confirming Details • Let me confirm the details. • Your appointment is on Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. • Can you confirm your name and date of birth? Using Dates & Time on the Phone • on Monday, 15 March • at 9 a.m. • in the morning / in the afternoon Examples: • The appointment is on Friday at 11 a.m. • I’m available in the afternoon. Spelling Names on the Phone (Very Important) • That’s A for Apple, R for Romeo, A for Apple, S for Sugar, H for Hotel. • Can you spell your surname, please?
