Detroit firefighters bail out of Dwelling fire

Dwelling fire flashes over on crews in the 7th battalion causing a firefighter to bail out of the house. Crews responded to a reported dwelling fire on Holmer and Woodmere. Engine 33 stretched with heavy fire on both floor in the rear of the dwelling. While crews were making the push the conditions changed and the chief made the call to pull everyone out. Talking to firefighters on scene they stated that as they were trying to make their way out the rear of the dwelling lit off pushing crews to the floor. 1 firefighter didn’t make it to the door and had to bail out the “D” side of the dwelling. No reported injuries at this fire.
