Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this TecNiq 42-inch-long white LED 360 degree, all round boat navigation light. Now this 360 degree LED pole light makes your boat more visible when you're traveling at night. It is an all round navigation light that'll project the white light all around the boat, 360 degrees. And I have this hooked up to some 12 volt power just to show you how bright the light is. So if I go ahead and turn that power on, you can see the light comes on just right there. And I'm gonna go ahead and turn off the overhead lights and you can see how bright that light is. And even if we zoom in, you can see, gives you a nice 360 degree range of light. And if we zoom back out, I can sort of show you how it's all the way around. We'll go ahead and turn back on our overhead light. Now this must be displayed at night and in periods of poor visibility like fog or heavy rain. The nice thing on this light, the base on it, it is a hinged pole design. So you can see, I'm gonna go ahead and turn off the power right now, but the base right here, when you do install this, it has a knob on here. And if you loosen that knob, it'll let you, gives you a range of, you could angle this, pull to whatever angle you need on your application. Once you get it in that application, just go ahead and tighten it down like that and it'll hold it at that angle for your light. Also at the very top where the light is itself, that does also go side-to-side, so it does adjust a little bit at the top where the light is. Now the light is a single premium LED. It's energy efficient, long lasting, vibration resistant, and it meets every all round light specifications. Does have a range of two nautical miles. It is in a sealed, waterproof unit, includes a nice durable polycarbonate housing, UV resistant lens. They do use military grade construction of the circuit board for the light and it uses urethane potting, which is better protection than the common epoxy potting. The pole itself is aluminum construction. It is 12-volt DC compatible and it is a surface mount installation. The base on it, you can see is designed to mount to a flat surface. Does have two holes for screws. Now the mounting hardware's not included. You would've to supply that. And it does hardwire, let me just unhook it here and I'll show you. It has two wires on it, a black and white wire so it hardwires to your application. The length on these wires is 12 inches. Few dimensions, the pole itself is 42 inches long, 3/4 inch diameter. Now it does come into many other lengths. This one is a 42 inch long, but it comes anywheres from 12 inch up to 48 inches long. We do sell those separately on our website. The base itself on this, I'm gonna actually zoom in a little bit so we can show you the measurement on the base. You're looking at 2 1/2 inches by 1 1/4 inches. And the distance between those mounting holes, center-to-center, is 1 3/4 inches. But that's gonna do it for the review on the TecNiq 42 inch long white LED 360 degree all round boat navigation light.
