Foundations Tape Drawing II Project

Exhibition: Jan. 22–29, 2020 Location: CVAD Art Building (1201 W. Mulberry St., Denton, TX 76201) Floors 2, 3 and 4 CVAD students in the Foundations program will begin their first Drawing II class project: a collaborative, site-specific installation focusing on line in the form of electrical tape, to alter perceptions of space. "As the number of installations begins to pop up on CVAD floors 2, 3 and 4, we are excited to witness our students working collaboratively, full of energy toward a tight deadline on ambitious projects." said Binod Shrestha, Foundations director and associate professor of new media art. The students also are tasked with being self-reflective on how their work impacts the CVAD community and have been given clear guidelines about how to approach the project, especially in our shared spaces.
