Step-by-step guide on how to change / remove / replace engine air filter on Ford Expedition SUV (2015 | 2016 | 2017 | XLT | LIMITED | MAXX | EL | PLATINUM | 3.5L ). Engine air filter is located under the front hood. First you want to unclip three plastic clips holding the air box cover. Than loosen up metal flap screw on top of the air hose and wiggle the air box cover off the hose. Lift it up and pull to the left side and you will get access to the air filter.
