Set List: Sing! Australia For You Calypso Special treat at the end: John describes this experience during a concert two years later. Hi Guys, this is a fun one. John Denver, because he was a frequent visitor & supporter of Australia, was invited to perform at our bicentenary celebrations. This was for 200 years of Australia's European settlement & was held in Sydney in 1988. John performs in his usual casual style, and his ridiculously good vocal ability. The first song he performs he wrote for this concert, the second he wrote for his new Aussie wife & the third is a John Denver classic about Jaques Cousteau and his oceanographic research vessel "Calypso". This video ends with a captured audio talking about his experience at that concert. It is very funny enjoy.
