Classic TV Theme: The Zoo Gang

A 1974 ITC show, 'Zoo Gang' was based on a book by Paul Gallico. Four former Resistance fighters reunite years later to avenge a fallen comrade, and stick around to scam other criminals and con artists. It's a bit like 'Four Just Men' but with color photography of the French Riviera. Brian Keith was the American (the series ran on NBC in the States) along with fellow adventurers John Mills, Lili Palmer, and Barry Morse. The show had a short run (six episodes); Mills recalled that the early scripts were 'sensational', the later ones 'dreadful'. The background music was by Ken Thorne, but the theme was composed by Paul and Linda McCartney, performed by Sir Paul and Wings. 00:00 Opening titles. 01:06 End credits.
