PRISM® Roll Compactor is totally based on the DRY COMPACTION METHOD. The Powder charged in the hopper is pre-compacted & fed into the gap between two compacting rolls. The Compacting rolls process the powder into a compacted sheet then which can be pre milling and granulated into the desired mesh size which use of a granulator. SALIENT FEATURES: • The Machine construction and components in accordance with cGMP standard. • All contact parts made from S.S.316L & Non contact parts are made from S.S.304 • The roller and roller shaft is made from S.S.410 with hard chrome plating. • The roller shaft is made from S.S.410. • Rollers are easily accessed for cleaning, maintenance or change over via a cantilever design The Roller parallel maintained by means of the Hydraulic Force and loads provide the same drive. • To achieve maximum bulk density and output various type of rolls offered is 1. Plain 2.Corrugated 3. Knurled. (We are supply any one type of roll fixing in the machine.) • The Roll surface is designed to prevent slippage • Machine flitted with corrugated surface rolls with cooling. • Rear roll chamber assembly is movable in the chamber to adjust gap between two rolls. The gap sets by putting space between fix wall and sliding rear wall chamber assembly. • Rear roll chamber assembly with hydraulic pressure to adjust desire compaction to operate machine. • The side seal is provides to roll side so that the percentage of uncompacted powder that leaks by is kept extremely you. • A scraper is mounted at the bottom and top of the roll to scrape off powder sticking on the roll. • The machine structure, legs are Made from Heavy and rigid carbon steel with cladding by SS 304. • The side wall of compression chamber is made from carbon steel and cladding by S.S.316 Quality. • Powder feeder with cone type hopper with cone type auger screw to feed powder between two rollers. • Auger feed screw drives with variable speed drive through rigid reduction gear motor drives. • Feed hopper provide with jacket for water cooling. • Feed screw hopper assembly mounted hydraulic pillar for lifting and lowering for cleaning. • The hopper and screw feeder are designed for easy dismantling and cleaning. • To facilitate the clean up job, the control panel is separate from the basic machine, thus the product contact area can be safely washed down with water. • To prevent a possible accident the compacting roll is designed to rotate backward when cleaning. • For safety purposes, an Emergency stop Button is provided both on the machine and the control panel. • The control panel provided with on-off switch, indicator, digital RPM indicator, emergency stop, etc.
