Enjoy “60 Seconds of FroZEN! BLUE ICE SLABS ON LAKE SUPERIOR ICE ICE BABY! The magical blue ice slabs make their way to the frozen shores of Lake Superior. Lake Superior is the deepest, coldest and largest of the Great Lakes. This part of Lake Superior surrounds the Keweenaw Peninsula with all her mysterious beauty. The location is Keystone Bay in the northernmost part of the Keweenaw Peninsula. Randy and I rode our snowmobiles to this remote and serene location. There wasn't another soul around for miles. Some years the Northeast winds push the ice slabs to shore where they become stacked and piled together. The ice can pile together as high as 5-10 feet. You can see in the video that the ice goes out as far as the eyes can see. This video was shot a few years ago as this phenomenon does not happen each year. We hope you enjoy our video. With all that’s going on in the world we thought you may enjoy “60 Seconds of Zen. To see more of our videos remember to Subscribe to our channel.
