Merry Christmas Bomber fans! To celebrate the festive season, here is a career highlights package for one of the most underrated centre half forwards of the last 25 years, the left-footed legend himself, Scott Lucas. Across 270 games in the red and black, Scott Lucas kicked 471 goals, was a premiership player in 2000, won best & fairests in 2003 and 2006, was the club leading goal-kicker in 2006, and formed a lethal forward partnership with Matthew Lloyd. He was famously next to useless on his right foot, but boy was he good on the left! How many times did he launch the ball through the goals from 60 or 70 meters out? So enjoy this tribute to a true champion of the Essendon Football Club and re-live some of Scotty’s finest moments from his debut season in 1996 right up to his final year in 2009. What a legend!
