I've never explored this little section of the Cheviot Hills before and I've been meaning to for ages, so when my mysterious companion (actually my camera-shy original camping buddy) was free for a camp I jumped at the chance. I'd been led to the area just because of the names on the map: Ogre Hill/ Ravens Knowe/ Windy Crag and was sure I could find a fine place to camp. Views for miles and a fantastic view of the Otterburn Ranges- we made sure to camp at least a kilometre away from the live firing boundary.
