Howdy and welcome back to Life with Professor Retro! 🥂 We’ve reached a major milestone in our "Let's Make an RPG" series. In Episode 6, we’re moving out of pure development and into the "Bug Hunting" phase. Join me as I playtest the game from start to finish, breaking things on purpose to find what needs fixing. We’ll be adding a vital new sector (the Mainframe!), fixing transport issues, and ensuring the neural link and timers work exactly as intended. Once the game is "finished but not polished," I'll walk you through the entire deployment process: Bug Hunting: Using my phone to track every glitch and game-breaking error. Coding Fixes: Adding Sector 8 (Mainframe) and fixing the timer stop triggers. Web Deployment: How to export your project for web browsers, Android, and iOS. Packaging for Itch.io: Why that index.html file is critical and how to properly zip your project for a successful upload. The prototype is ready for you to play! I’d love for you to jump in, test it out, and let me know what you think needs to be changed or fixed. If you found a bug from this video, leave a comment on the game page, and I’ll give you a shout-out in the next update!
