Mystery Island, Vanuatu | Carnival Luminosa Cruise 2024

Welcome to day 4 of our Carnival Luminosa Cruise, where we were lucky enough to visit this amazing spot, Mystery Island in Vanuatu. This was my personal favourite. The water was gorgeous, super white sand, perfect weather, tropical fish, locals singing island songs, endless markets, hair braiding, lizards, coconuts … it had it all. I was in heaven. The boys had an amazing time exploring, swimming and snorkelling. We were all in awe of how beautiful this tropical island was. It was our first time snorkelling so we really appreciated the shallow crystal clear water and little clown fish swimming about. We all had full face snorkelling masks which were amazing once you got used to them. One thing I really enjoyed was the calm water and not being worried about the boys getting dragged out into the ocean. It was like a giant tropical lagoon. Madden and I got corn rows. It took about 20 minutes and cost $17 Australian for both of us, Omg! Coconuts were $5 each. Getting covered in green lizards for a few photos, $5. We didn’t do any shore excursions and we had a great day. Maybe next time we visit, and we will, we might go to an even better snorkelling spot with a guide. We had lunch on the island, locals were cooking chicken and coconut rice for $20. I wasnt a fan sorry.
