Sassy Grandma went into a coma for a couple days. I don’t think I’ve ever been this scared I was going to lose her. Her arm started swelling. As the days went on, the swelling became unbearable. Her arm was 3 times it’s normal size and she was having trouble breathing. We went to the ER. When we got to the hospital she closed her eyes and I thought she fell asleep waiting. She didn’t wake up again for two days. We ran every test imaginable. Brain and body scans. Arm scans, leg scans. Liver, kidney, heart scans. No strokes. No aneurysm. No blood-clots. No heart issues. We were all stumped! The doctor reported that she was likely allergic to one of the ingredients in her shot. The rest of the family had ours and had absolutely no trouble at all. Including my autistic son. To clarify- we absolutely still don’t know if any of this was related to the shot. The doctors just assumed that the severe swelling of her arm, coupled with this event could have been an allergic reaction. This is just showing what happened and her waking up in a really grumpy mood. I tried to keep joking with her and laughing. She was confused and nervous. She’s home now and doing very very very well. We are so blessed and lucky once again. Sorry about the glitchy jumpy parts. I realized I say “ummm” every ten seconds and I went through and cut them out so you wouldn’t get a headache lol We love you.
