2020 Troubadours: The Last Trouba Train Trip (trailer)

2020 TROUBADOURS is a cultural project that improves transnational mobility of world music artists in Europe: concerts, workshops, train trip experiences and more. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, no international train travels were possible in 2020 for our Troubadours. Music in this video: Live improvisation from "The Last Trouba Trip" was recorded on the train trip between Subotica and Sombor on October 16th 2020, with following artists involved: Miroslav Jovančić (violin), Árpád Bakos (koboz, vocal), Lazar Novkov (accordion), Nenad Patković (guitar), Vladimir Ćuković (violin). * * * * More about the 2020 Troubadours project: We focus on world music. Our artists come from different cultural backgrounds and bring different aesthetics to the stages. They interact, and learn from each other. Artistically, they grow together. The project is created and conducted by cultural operators from Belgium (Via Lactea, Tournai), France (Flonflons, Lille), Serbia (Etnofest, Palić) and Hungary (Mediawave, Győr), with associated partners “Novi Sad 2021” ECC Foundation from Serbia and Centre for Cultural management from Lviv, Ukraine. The project is co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union.
