On this project, the homeowner experienced a water leak that flooded the main level of the home. Our team removed the water-damaged hardwood floors, replaced the affected areas, and installed new hardwood flooring throughout. We also feathered in new planks to blend seamlessly with the existing floors for a continuous look. As part of the upgrade, we installed custom flush-mount floor vents for a more high-end, modern finish. Unlike metal drop-in vents, flush vents sit perfectly level with the flooring, creating a clean, elegant aesthetic that increases both home value and visual continuity. During the repair process we also: • Removed old tile and grout • Installed new hardwood flooring in place of tile • Replaced sections of damaged subfloor in the bathroom • Prepped, sanded, and refinished the flooring • Applied stain and two coats of matte polyurethane finish The final result is a fully restored, seamless hardwood floor system with upgraded vents and a beautiful matte finish that ties the entire space together.
