Spotted on the rear you have one of the new Chinese made wagons IHO with dual braking vacuum and air. While the other two are some of the newer wagons CHR-1 type from Transnet which seem to have been replaced by almost similar looking wagons from CFM. The rest are a mixture of CFR type wagons. Empties usually make their return trip as one long unit train. --------------------------------------------------- Uses of Chrome The chromium extracted from chromite is used in chrome plating and alloying for production of corrosion resistant superalloys, nichrome, and stainless steel. Chromium is used as a pigment for glass, glazes, and paint, and as an oxidizing agent for tanning leather.
