Start by cracking open the coconut and extracting the white coconut meat from the shell. 2. Peel and cut the coconut meat into smaller, more manageable pieces to make blending a breeze. 3. In your blender, add half of the total amount of coconut meat (150 g) and 150 ml of boiled and cooled water. Repeat the same with the remaining ingredients (150 g of coconut + 150 ml of water) 4. Blend the mixture on high speed until it becomes wonderfully smooth. This might take a few minutes. 5. Once blended, strain the mixture through cheesecloth into a bowl. This step separates the coconut milk from the coconut pulp, leaving you with a silky, creamy liquid. 6. Pour the strained coconut milk into a clean container or bottle. 7. Don't let the leftover coconut pulp go to waste! Spread it on a baking sheet to dry, and voila – you've got homemade coconut flakes. Allow them to air-dry. 8.
