In today's video, I paint myself purple. Japanese fashion is so fun and freeing that I love to delve into the different subcultures that were born there. Today we take a closer look at Ishoku Hada which means beautiful/colorful skin. It is a subsection of kawaii that takes a lot of inspiration from ganguro as well as cosplay and monster girl or alien girl fashion. The main point of this subculture is to paint your skin a color from the rainbow. It's a lot about creativity and self expression. Also, you may have noticed I kinda stopped doing vlogmas.
