I picked up a $73 water tank and turned it into a DIY deer watering hole. After placing it out and filling it up, I wanted to see how long it would take for deer to actually find it and start using it. It took 5 days before the first deer showed up, and from there the results were really cool to watch. Adding water can be a game-changer for your hunting property, especially in the hot summer and early fall months when natural water sources can be limited.
