How we're opening the Metro Tunnel

The Metro Tunnel will open later this year, with trains stopping at all 5 new stations. The project’s 5 new stations will open to the public, and Metro Tunnel services that connect the Sunbury and Cranbourne/Pakenham lines will run in addition to the existing timetable. A new timetable and broader network changes will be introduced early 2026.
