hey guys!! HAPPY DECEMBER FIRST!! can't believe it's almost the end of the year already?!?! like whattttt during the month of december, i like to take time to reflect on my year, and without fail every year I always end up seeing the Lord in everything! this year has been an emotional rollercoaster for me FOR SURE. but the Lord has been with me through it all and as I look back I can see even clearer where He was in every moment of my year. I'm reminded of this verse where the Lord is speaking and he says "He shall call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble: I will deliver him, and honor him." (psalm 91:15 ASV) and it's so true!! Every time I've called for the Lord to come help me or just invited the Lord to spend the day with me, He has come. There has never been a moment where I've called to the Lord and He hasn't answered! I'm writing this all to say that sometimes it feels like we're never gonna get out of the hole we're stuck in or we're never gonna break out of a cycle, BUT i want to encourage you to keep pressing through! The Lord is with you and when you call to Him, He. Will. Answer. EVERYTIME! you know how i know? It says it in His Word and He keeps His promises! "For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God." (1 Corinthians 1:20) every promise the Lord has is a yes and amen for YOU! and sometimes it might feel like you're calling to God and you're praying and praying and p r a y i n g. and thoughts like "maybe the Lord has forgotten about me." or "God's angry at me and is giving me the silent treatment" start to flood your head. welp, those are lies that the enemy wants you to believe so that you stop praying. DON'T LISTEN TO THOSE THOUGHTS!! instead, run to the Word, cling to Psalm 91:15 and other promises, and PRAY MORE! The Lord will always answer, and in His timing because HIS timing is perfect, AND He'll answer in HIS way but sometimes it looks different than how we expect!! anyways i hope this helps at least one person and may it all be for the Lord's glory and His alone!
