My Favorite Place to Eat in Bangkok, Thailand: Terminal 21 Food Court, Sukhumvit Road

In this video, I go for lunch at one of my favorite places to eat in Bangkok, Terminal 21 shopping mall food court, Pier 21. I eat here regularly whenever I'm in Bangkok. The main reason I enjoy eating here is that the prices are unbeatable. You can have a filling meal for $3-$4, including a drink. It's cheaper than eating street food. I don't know how they keep the prices so low. I think the mall must subsidize the food. For example, you can get a pad Thai with shrimp for 52 baht or $1.60. On the street, the same meal would cost closer to 100 baht or around $3. You can get a smoothie for around 30 baht or $1. On the street, a smoothie costs around 60 baht or $2. There are over 20 stalls with dozens of different options. You can find all of your favorite Thai dishes here, including pad thai, tom yum soup, mango sticky rice, Thai curry, and more. There are also some Chinese options as well as drinks and desserts. Another thing I like about eating here is that you don't have to worry about food hygiene. Everything is clean. The food hasn't been sitting out all day. I have eaten here dozens of times and never gotten sick. With street food, you have to be a bit more careful. Cash isn't accepted here. You have to load a card with cash then you pay by scanning your card at the counter. There is a kiosk where you can load a card and cash out after your meal.
