Hear from our panel of AI experts: • Professor Mike Tipping is Professor of Machine Learning in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Bath. Prior to joining the University, he spent over 15 years in diverse industry roles, from Microsoft Research to several start-ups. Mike's research spans the fields of artificial intelligence, machine learning, probabilistic modelling and data science, and he is internationally recognised for developing the theory of “probabilistic principal component analysis” and originating the concept of “sparse Bayesian” machine learning. • Dr Fabio Nemetz is a Senior Lecturer and Director of Postgraduate Studies in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Bath. Before his academic career, Fabio worked as a Software Engineer and Usability Consultant, bringing valuable industry experience to his teaching. A National Teaching Fellow and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, he is known for his innovative, inclusive teaching style. A student is also presetn to talk to you about their experiences of studying at Bath and future career in the field of AI.
