David Godshall of TERREMOTO presents “Creative Demolition, Modest Interventions: Creating Landscapes That Respond to This Moment of Great Uncertainty.” David Godshall is a landscape architect, horticultural theorist and the design director of the TERREMOTO office in Los Angeles. David started the office in 2012, but more recently his role is found in asking and answering big, simple, beautiful questions, like “how, why, and for whom is the garden?" Both technical and spiritual inquiries into the ongoing evolution of the practice are eternally of great interest to David, and through both relentless and kind-hearted self-inquiry, he hopes to push the team and practice to ecologically and spatially fertile new territories. TERREMOTO will hold the 2025 Glimcher Distinguished Visiting Professorship
