From athletes and racing professionals to stylish racegoers and community leaders, this campaign honors the women whose passion, dedication, and presence help shape every unforgettable race day. Through Ladies Day celebrations, behind-the-scenes moments, and personal stories, we’re proud to showcase the strength, style, and spirit of the women who bring Chelmsford City Racecourse to life. One such woman is Talia Lazarus. After a freak accident left her initially unable to walk, Talia faced a long and difficult road to recovery. Determined to regain her strength, she set out to re-learn how to walk—and eventually run. Along the way, Talia began connecting with others who had overcome their own challenges, inspiring her to create I Got Back Up—a platform dedicated to sharing stories of resilience and hope. Her journey perfectly embodies the courage and determination we celebrate through our Showstopping Women campaign.
