Meet the American Patriot

The American Patriot based out of Marco Island (Naples) Florida is a new boat to the Gulf of Mexico waters. The boat offers multiday fishing trips from 3-5 days in length to places like the Dry Tortugas, Pulley Ridge, Howell's Hook and Rankin Ridge. This video highlights a 3 day trip I took in October 2021 to an area North of the Dry Tortugas. For me Marco Island was a 4 hour drive from The Villages. There were 30 passengers on this trip and the boat had plenty of room to accommodate. Red Grouper and Lane Snapper season was closed, but there were plenty of American Red Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Yellowtail Snapper and Amberjack to fill the coolers. Charlie and Jennifer Pryde have lived in The Villages for 21 months and in Central Florida for fifteen years. Our main activities in The Villages are biking, fitness parks, pickle ball, platform tennis, golf and swimming. We love to travel throughout Florida, the United States and internationally. Our Youtube channel’s focus is on promoting a physically active lifestyle for mature adults, but we will also indulge ourselves in a good restaurant, bakery or watering hole that we find during our travels.
