We spent a few wonderful days in this beautiful place with Kay and Doug (Mitchell), stepped back in history, but with all the modern conveniences! The Greyhound, situated in the rolling hills of southwest Suffolk, dates as far back as 1420 and was an Inn for hundreds of years until 1907. Its name is believed to originate from when it accommodated the Kings' (and Queens') Messengers on their horseback journeys carrying Royal missives. The house is a historically important and Heritage Listed building, largely thatched, full of ancient beams and brimming over with character. It has been upgraded for modern living with central heating, luxury bathrooms, and quality fixtures and fittings. Recommend 100%! Thanks so much for watching this video!
