The doctors are so knowledgeable, and you can’t feel it. My first one was super easy cause I had no idea what to expect. But the recovery is a whoooooole different story. It is a major procedure. Twin Myths video that breaks down the types of twin pregnancies:    • Видео   C-Section Video Notes & Time Stamps -How I came to the decision to have a planned c-section: 0:46 -Twins: Mono Di Twin Pregnancy -Singleton: Repeat procedure and cut away all the painful scar tissue -Preparing for C-Section: 4:50 -Schedule it about a month or two in advance -Hospital bag was packed with SOOOO much stuff for twins well in advance. With singleton I barely packed anything cause I knew what I was getting into. -Can’t eat or drink starting midnight the that night before the procedure. -Talk to your OB about taking a stool softener the day of the procedure. C-Section Surgery Experience: 9:54 -About 20 minutes before you get wheeled to the operation room they give your husband or whoever your single support person is a full scrub outfit. Once they are dressed and they are ready for you they wheel you to operation. -You get to go into the operation room first to get the spinal block and it is SUPER COLD. Ask for warm blankets. -Make sure they test your leg for pain after the spinal block and you should feel NOTHING! -They insert a catheter once you can’t feel anything to empty your bladder and that will stay in for the next few days. -The actual operation itself is not too bad. They have a cloth to block your view so you can’t see them cutting into you. It literally only takes about 15-20 minutes for them to cut through to get to the baby.
