JJ talks with Lok See (Strength coach based in Hong Kong, training out of CSA: Classic Strength Academy) about how they model their understanding of the Squat in Powerlifting using Bill Hartman's Model of Expansion and Compression and the Limb Arc Model. PART 1 will go into the theory to seeing how the model works in the powerlifting squat. We talk about how we model the barbell back squat, how to setup for maximum efficiency, long term progress and sustainability and the ideas behind how to individualise squat technique as well as a bit of a rant.
