Simple Syrup: 1 C. sugar 1 C. water Combine Equal parts sugar and water on the stovetop over medium-high heat. Stir occasionally and bring to a boil. Immediately lower heat to LOW and simmer for 5 minutes. Turn off heat. Store in sealed jar in fridge. IF you are flavoring with herbs, cinnamon sticks or spices, add as soon as you lower heat. After 5 minutes of simmering, turn the heat off and allow the add-ins to steep for an addition 5-10 minutes. Strain, and store jar in fridge. IF you are flavoring with extracts. Stir in after you remove from heat. Coffee creamer 1 C. Half and Half 1/4 C. flavored simple syrup Mix together in mason jar and store in fridge Lemonade 2. T lemon juice 2.T Simple Syrup 8 oz Water Mix over ice. Soda between 2-4 T. flavored Simple Syrup 8 oz carbonated water stir together over ice Hey there darling! Welcome to my kitchen.
