The M4 748 (a) in War Thunder is a Premium German Medium Tank that's a little bit special. The German Sherman is one of two of the oldest Tanks in War Thunder. These were the very first Premium Tanks offered in the game and technically the first tanks you could ever own in War Thunder. Once upon a time this was an extremely unique tank. For the longest time this was the only other Sherman in a Tech Tree that wasn't US meaning it was a bit of a troll in Simulator Battles. In terms of how effective the vehicle is, it's basically just a Sherman that won't fight German guns. Meaning in a full downtier, it's rare to find someone that can penetrate your hull from the front. The Sherman in War Thunder is a formidable tank. It's awkward to hit its weakspots and the stabilizer means it's often the first to get a shot off.
