Hoover Elite Energy Efficient U4641-930 Upright Vacuum

This is my Hoover Elite Energy Efficient upright vacuum (from 1994), model U4641-930, that I bought off Ebay. I almost didn't want to buy this vacuum because I have way too many of these vacuums (this one will be my 12th), but I did wind up getting this since this was basically the soft bag version of my Elite Supreme (   • Hoover Elite Supreme U5071-930 Upright Vacuum  ), and originally I wanted the white version of this, but what sold me on this, is the fact it comes with an air freshener tablet on top of the outer bag, a feature more commonly found on higher end Elite's. This does come with an on board hose mounted on the side of the machine that connects down into the head of the vacuum, and this did come with all of the original grey colored attachments (which is another thing that intrigues me about this model being that this has grey attachments, as well as a grey cord, but this comes with a black plastic body, so this leads me to believe that this was made in the plastic body color transition, but didn't change the cord and attachment color until later on in their production run). It features a 7.2 amp motor with direct air design and takes Hoover Type A bags (this example is running the Hepa bags that are available but a big pricey but worth it in the filtration and increased performance). The suction is not the best (especially in tool mode), but the airflow is amazing, and the agitation is fantastic. My only complaints about this machine is that it's quite loud when in use, and can sometimes be very vulnerable when using since it's entirely made out of plastic (especially if you accidentally suck up anything metal that damaged the fan and/or the motor housing). Overall, I absolutely love this vacuum and is certainly better than anything Hoover makes today.
