Susunia is a hill of southern West Bengal India. It's known for it's holy spring, flora and the rock faces on which many mountaineers of the region started journey. Geologists have already proved that susunia hill is older than the Himalayas. Susunia hill complex belonging to the mid to high hill zone is an extension of Ayodhya and other hill of Purulia Bankura area. The nearest railway station is the Bankura junction railway station and susunia hills are at a distance from 29 kilometres. Which takes around 50 minutes through the roadways.
