October 25, 2021. This is a walking tour of the downtown (Centro) area of Merida, Yucatan in Mexico. The walk starts by heading south on 62 to the "Plaza Grande" the main park of Merida and then passing the Cathedral and Teatro Peon Contreras. The parks are now open! This video shows Merida coming back to normal since the Covid light is now in green that means that the restrictions are minimum... use of face mask in establishments, temperature checks and hand sanitizer. Many businesses closed for good, some re-opened for normal business and the good thing is we have brand new business concepts all around Merida.
