KABOMPO SCHOOL START GROWING MUKULA TREES

A School in Kabompo District in North Western Province has ventured into Mukula trees under production unit PU program. PHAKASA Primary School becomes the first school in the country to venture into a different form of production unit. School Head teacher SIMEON CHAYINDA says over 150 Mukula trees have been planted under the program. He says the school decided to venture into Mukula tree plantation because of its value on the local and foreign market. This came to light when General Education Permanent Secretary JOBBICKS KALUMBA visited the school on his continued tour of the province to inspect examinations. And Dr. KALUMBA has commended the school for the initiative and unique form of production unit. Meanwhile, Teaching Service Commission Vice Chairperson IREEN ANGASISHE has urged the school to practice other forms of PU as they are growing the Mukula trees.
