Trains at Liverpool Lime Street. WCML. 21/02/2025.

A very good late afternoon session here at Liverpool Lime Street, a terminus for the West Coast Mainline with a couple other lines thrown into the mix as well, where we see plenty of services from Avanti West Coast, East Midlands Railway, London Northwestern Railway, Northern, Transpennine Express and Transport for Wales. I do love this station. From the volume of traffic to the station itself, the approach into it. It's just absolutely fantastic. Always adds a bit more entertainment when there's disruption in various parts of the country as well which throws Realtime Trains into a blender. Strongly recommended if you haven't been before. If you do come here to do trainspotting, you don't have to sign in or get permission, however, I'd still recommend finding a member of staff and just letting them know what you're up to.
