It was the first really nice weather day here in weeks so I decided to get out to the library to return a few books, the grocery store so I could make some nachos for dinner, and 7-Eleven since Powerball is up to a $1b jackpot. (wish me luck!) The thing that fascinates me is that I left the house at 3 in the afternoon and the sun was already so far down in the sky. I realize I'm lucky that we don't really have bad weather here but I'd hate to live even further north and have shorter winter days. Just four more days, though, and then they start getting longer again! And random aside, I didn't plug the bike in after sunday's ride down to San Rafael so I only had 27% battery left. 5.6 miles today drained it 21%. I've made a note to self that my mileage drops once the battery gets that low. If it always burned through electrons that quickly I wouldn't even be able to get 27 miles on a full charge but I have done way better than that. 5.6 18.4 29.1
