Fanatec CSL Cockpit Review - Misunderstood?

A Fanatec product that requires the use of Fanatec wheelbases. That alone puts it at odds with almost every third-party cockpit available and the case for choosing a CSL Cockpit is made much weaker due to that fact, you really have to KNOW that and WANT this in order to choose it. But if you are intending to use a Fanatec setup, for which this cockpit is fully intended, what are the good and bad bits, and is it generally a sensible option?
