The story continues. As Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash undergo a mission of their own on a more metropolitan world, Rarity makes her way back to the Temple of Harmony from yet another round of attempting to locate Twilight Sparkle. First things first, if you're reading this, you are awesome. I just want to say thank you very much for your support. Though I haven't been able reply to any, believe me when I say that I do monitor the comment sections of my videos. Especially regarding the veritable essays that some of you have written; it really puts the biggest smile on my face to read those kinds of messages. Of course, I've also been paying attention to you complaints and criticisms. For one, I don't think they're moving too slow anymore. At least I hope not. Now, meta commentary regarding this. This was hard. Besides experimenting with more camera angles as well as more broad movements, I've also been dabbling more into special effects animation. You will know them when you see them. Fun fact, this was my first attempt at animating water of any kind. That one scene actually went through about five animated revisions before I was finally satisfied with the outcome. It also surprises me that this came out longer than Part 1. Especially so since 1 min from Part 1 was actually caused by padding from the Star Wars-style text scroll intro. So the two parts plus the projected 8 mins of Part 3 mean that in total this would actually be 26 mins. That's pretty much a short film. And that last sentence is a perfect segue to the next thing I feel I ought to mention. The reason for my sudden and complete radio silence is because this animation as well as all the others are essentially the foundations of my portfolio. Comparing this to my first work, Equestria Spice Girls, I feel that I'm competent enough to really start identifying as a professional, or at least an apprentice/entry-level. Within the next few weeks I may actually be employed in an advertising firm. From there? Who knows... But enough of that I suppose. From now on I will try to be much more interactive with the audience I seem to have attracted. Perhaps I could figure out how to get the live-stream system up and running.
