Hello, this is Hidden Seoul. Today’s walk begins in Changcheon-dong, a quiet neighborhood filled with old residential houses and narrow alleys that still reflect the everyday life of past decades. From there, we continue to Wind Park, a small hilltop park where gentle breezes pass through the open space. Next, we head toward the front of Ewha Womans University, which was once one of the busiest and most vibrant university districts in Seoul. The streets here used to be filled with students, shops, cafés, and a bright, youthful energy. But as the city’s trends shifted and commercial centers changed, some alleys — especially Ewha 52-gil (Ewha Backstreet) — have grown noticeably quiet.
