Theo Heldt und sein Orchester – Sweetheart (Will You Remember? The Sweetheart Song) from MGM picture “Maytime” (Romberg), Clangor 1937 (Germany) NOTE: The famous Jeannette’s MacDonald’s hit “Will You Remember?” is here played by one of the nicest non-jazz dance-orchestras of the 1930s in Berlin, however being also one of the most solidly forgotten now. Almost nothing is available in the web about Theo Held and his band. Yet, the rendition of this charming song is one of the best I ever heard. And – what can better accompany such delicately and tastefully arranged waltz, than photographs of the springtime day in Berlin, when the morning newspaper rustles in your hand and the fresh air in a café-garden is saturated with flavour of the freshly ground coffee. Unfortunately, a mistake had been made by me in the movie - the date of the recording is ofcourse, 1937, not 1936 as I put it. Sorry… 
