Recently, Kishori Radhe Devi Dasi, a disciple of Radha Govinda Goswami, addressed the Hindu Council of Kenya on preserving Vedic culture. She reminded the audience that culture is more than food, dress, or rituals—it’s about understanding the philosophy behind them. ‘To preserve culture meaningfully, we must go deeper into its roots—dharma itself.’ Quoting the Bhagavad-gita, she explained that dharma is a science, not blind faith. And when children are taught the ‘why’ behind traditions, they inherit a living heritage—not just hollow rituals. The response was powerful. Attendees shared that they had never heard dharma explained in this way. Some were moved to tears. Kishori concluded by urging unity and connection.
