MBRRE ‘Narragansett Bay Special’ on the Newport & Narragansett Bay Railroad

The Massachusetts Bay Railroad Enthusiasts and the Old Colony & Newport Railway Volunteers organized a special photo charter/excursion along the full length of the Newport & Narragansett Bay Railroad’s Newport Secondary from the newly restored section in Newport to the End of Track in Tiverton. We de-boarded in Middletown, The Mount Hope Bridge, & the Hummocks in Portsmouth for several photo runbys. I then followed NNBR Extra 66, the deadhead equipment, from Newport to Melville where they returned to the yard for the day.
