As Muslims we felt every painful year roll by, as we looked to the rest of the world for assistance, support and hope in this matter. Other than empty promises and words, nothing was ever done to stop the murder and plunder. How sad that it took something like this to unfold, to make the world stop and pay attention. We should remember all those suffering in our prayers and help in whatever capacity we can. A point that I'd like to mention is that there have been sincere and brave people from the Jewish community that have also spoken out against the ongoing oppression of the zionist regime and have shown solidarity with the Palestinians too - may Allah bless them too with all types of goodness and his nearness!
